COED TEEN BOATING PROGRAM
in Dana Point

Are you a teenager looking for adventure and excitement on the high seas with a spirited group of like-minded friends?

Welcome to our Mariner Youth Programs. Fun on the water is what we are about. We have two programs of ocean-based activities for youth, ages 12 through 18, which combine fun on the water with continuing education in maritime skills.

Mariners is a co-ed boating program for young people ages 14 through 18 and the Mariner Junior program is for those 12-14. Both are designed to allow young people an opportunity to have fun with their friends in sailboats of all sizes at a very low cost.

All activities are conducted with an emphasis on safety. Mariners is a club, a school, a very special place in which all youth are welcome and in which many youth form lifetime friendships.

FEES AND MEMBERSHIP
The Mariner Junior Program is sponsored by the South Coast Sailing Team. Membership is open twice a year; spring season and fall season. An Information Night is held each season (in September for the fall season and in February for the spring season) at the Dana Point Youth and Group Facility.

A membership fee of $300 per youth, per season, which along with completed and signed paperwork is due by Mariner Junior meeting #1 each season.

INFORMATION PACKAGE
Mariners Junior and Mariners packages can be completed and brought to the information meeting.  Payment of fees and submission of paperwork entitles each youth to our classes, a Mariner T-shirt and uniform.

CHARTER SCHOOLS
Charter school students are welcome but parents will have to pay through their own funds, not through the Charter School payment system.
